Organiser guide

  1. 01Before you come

Sign up at /epoch/register with your GitHub account. You get a wallet with your own QR code. Add it to your home screen so it's one tap away.

  2. 02At the registration desk

Pay for your ticket at the desk; there's no online payment. They scan your wallet QR and 398 EPC land in your wallet, once.

  3. 03Spending coins

Each booth costs a few coins per session (Virtual Reality Merge is 40). Open your wallet, tap Scan and point it at the booth's QR. Or let the booth's volunteer scan yours.

  4. 04Earning more

There are 5 recharge points. Win the quick challenge and get +20 EPC, once at each. The leaderboard counts what you earn, so spending never lowers your rank.

  5. 05Merch

Buy tees, hoodies and stickers with coins in the Shop, then show the receipt at the Merchandise Stall to collect it.

  6. 06Receipts and mistakes

Tap any line in your wallet for its receipt: what, where, when, your balance after it and a reference like EPC-00042. Charged twice? Show the receipt to that booth's volunteer straight away, or at the registration desk.

  7. 07No signal?

Your wallet still opens with your last balance, receipts and QR. It catches up when you're back online.

  8. 08Need help?

Ask at the registration desk or any volunteer. Or email github_community@gitam.in.
